Tata Power has unveiled an ambitious growth roadmap, aiming to achieve ₹1 trillion in revenue and ₹10,000 crore in profit after tax by 2030. The company also plans to expand its power generation capacity to 30 GW, with nearly two-thirds expected to come from clean and renewable energy sources.

As part of its clean energy strategy, Tata Power plans to establish a 10 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Odisha. The proposed plant will manufacture ingots, wafers, solar cells and modules, strengthening India’s domestic solar supply chain and reducing dependence on imports.
The company is also exploring opportunities in nuclear energy, battery storage and grid modernisation as it broadens its energy portfolio. Between FY26 and FY30, Tata Power plans significant investments in renewable power, transmission, distribution and next-generation energy infrastructure.
The expansion aligns with India’s clean energy ambitions and Tata Power’s long-term strategy of becoming one of the country’s leading integrated energy companies. The Odisha project is expected to strengthen India’s renewable manufacturing ecosystem while supporting the nation’s transition towards energy security and sustainability.
