The Annapurna Yojana cash transfer programme will begin disbursing ₹3,000 financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries from next week. According to reports, the amount will be credited directly to registered bank accounts in a phased manner as part of the government’s welfare support initiative.

Beneficiaries can reportedly track the status of their payments online through the official scheme portal by using registration details, Aadhaar-linked information, or bank account credentials. Authorities have urged applicants to verify their documentation and ensure Aadhaar-bank linkage is updated to prevent transaction failures or delays.
The scheme is designed to provide financial support to eligible households amid rising living expenses and to improve access to welfare assistance. Direct Benefit Transfer mechanisms are being used to ensure transparency and quicker delivery of funds to beneficiaries across regions.
