Air India has launched a new non-stop flight service between Delhi and Hanoi, marking its first direct connection to Vietnam’s capital.

The airline will operate five flights per week, significantly improving connectivity between India and Vietnam.
The inaugural flight departed Delhi at 1:20 AM IST and landed in Hanoi at 7:20 AM local time, receiving a warm welcome from officials and airport authorities.
The route, launched from May 1, 2026, is part of Air India’s broader expansion strategy in Asia and complements its existing services to Ho Chi Minh City.
With a flight duration of around 4.5 hours, the new service offers faster and more convenient travel for tourists, business travellers, and the growing India–Vietnam corridor.
This move is expected to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange, while strengthening Air India’s international network across Southeast Asia.
