D. Gukesh and R. Praggnanandhaa are two of India’s brightest young chess stars, and their journey is a true example of hard work, passion, and dedication. Both have worked relentlessly to reach the top of their game, inspiring many others along the way.

D. Gukesh:

D. Gukesh, born in 2006, became the youngest-ever World Chess Champion in 2024 at just 18. His rise to fame was fueled by his determination and love for chess.

Gukesh first gained attention when he became the youngest player to exceed a FIDE rating of 2750, a huge milestone in the chess world. His victory in the World Chess Championship was the culmination of years of training. In 2024, Gukesh earned around Rs 13.6 crore in prize money alone, and he was rewarded with a gift of Rs 5 crore from the Tamil Nadu government. His dedication continues to inspire young players to pursue their dreams.

R. Praggnanandhaa:

R. Praggnanandhaa, born in 2005, is another young chess prodigy who has made India proud. As of 2024, he is ranked 12th globally, showing that hard work pays off. Praggnanandhaa’s net worth is around Rs 8.26 crore ($1 million), a testament to his success. While he may not have reached the same fame as Gukesh, Praggnanandhaa’s steady rise and focus on improving his skills make him a role model. His story shows that success is not just about titles, but about constant effort and determination.

Both Gukesh and Praggnanandhaa have proven that with passion, discipline, and a lot of hard work, anything is possible. Their success isn’t only measured by their wealth but by the growth they’ve achieved in their journey. They inspire others to work hard, dream big, and never give up.
