According to a recent report by Informa Connect Academy, Elon Musk is set to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027. This projection is based on Musk’s impressive wealth growth, which has been averaging an annual increase of 110%. Currently, Musk tops the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $251 billion.

The academy’s report also suggests that Gautam Adani, an Indian business magnate, could achieve trillionaire status by 2028 if his wealth continues to grow at an annual rate of 123%. Additionally, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Prajogo Pangestu, an Indonesian energy and mining tycoon, are projected to reach trillionaire status in 2028 if their current growth trends persist. Bernard Arnault, the head of LVMH, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, are both on track to become trillionaires by 2030.
Companies Joining the Trillion-Dollar Club
Several companies have already reached valuations exceeding $1 trillion. Berkshire Hathaway recently surpassed this mark in late August, shortly before Warren Buffett’s 94th birthday. Nvidia also achieved a $1 trillion valuation in May 2023 and reached $3 trillion in June, placing it as the second-most-valuable company globally at that time, just behind Microsoft and ahead of Apple.
