Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has expanded its air cargo network with the launch of a new dedicated freighter service connecting Kochi and Sharjah.
The new service is expected to strengthen cargo connectivity between Kerala and the Gulf region, supporting faster movement of goods and improving access to key international markets.
The Kochi-Sharjah freighter route will provide additional capacity for exporters and importers, particularly businesses handling time-sensitive cargo.
The move further strengthens Kochi airport’s position as an important air cargo gateway for Kerala and the wider region.
With strong trade and commercial links between Kerala and the Gulf, the new service is expected to support businesses, improve logistics efficiency and contribute to the growth of international cargo operations through Kochi.
