Limited to just 12 units, the Black Arrows will be the last units of the Wraith to roll out of Rolls Royce’s facility
Rolls-Royce introduced the Wraith Black Arrow, a unique limited-edition vehicle that will mark the conclusion of the ultra-luxury carmaker’s period. The Black Arrow will be the final automobile built at Rolls-Goodwood Royce’s headquarters with a V12 engine. Rolls-Royce revealed that the Wraith Black Arrow is the company’s final V12 coupe before transitioning to all-electric cars in the future. The new Wraith Black Arrow V12 engine variant will only be available in 12 limited editions worldwide. The design of Wraith Black Arrow was inspired by the 1930s record-breaking eight-wheeled thunderbolt. Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce, explained that the thunderbolt will signify the end of an era and the culmination of many years of achievement.
The Wraith series has been in production for ten years, and the Black Arrow Version, which follows the 2016 black Badge version, has a V12 engine. “This spectacular last V12 coupé Collection embodies the essence and spirit of the Wraith via the marque’s signature and unequalled customised capabilities,” Muller-Otvos added. A fitting conclusion for this game-changing automobile. The exterior of the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Arrow is black and grey with vivid yellow accents. It features a distinctive finish with two colour gradients, Celebration Silver and Black Diamond. A coat of glass-infused “Crystal” paint mixed with Black Diamond paint enhances the two colours even more. The contrasting Bright yellow colour shows on the bumper inserts as well as the custom Wheel pinstripes.
Wraith Black Arrow’s interior has an open-pore wood door lining reminiscent of the Bonneville Salt Flats, where the Thunderbolt achieved the world land record in 1938. The seats, armrests, and dashboard are trimmed in black club leather, while the steering wheel, seat tops, and headrests are bright yellow. The automobile also sports the most LED lighting, including 2,117 fibre-optic stars on the rooftop to honour Thunderbolt’s legacy.
The V12 engine in the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Arrow produces up to 623 bhp of maximum power and 870 Nm of peak torque. Rolls-Royce has not released any further information on its special edition vehicle.
