What are WhatsApp Communities?
Users can organise group conversations on WhatsApp by connecting various groups under one general heading using the Communities feature. Getting started
The communities tab is accessible to users who have the feature update at the top of their chats on Android and at the bottom of their chats on iOS. Users can either add pre-existing groups or create new Communities by tapping the Communities tab. How does it function?
Anyone is free to host their own community and ask organisations to join. However, in order to access the community, the group administrators must accept the invitation. Groups and specific members may be expelled from the Community by community administrators.
