Bitcoin billionaire investor Tim Draper supports Bengaluru-based startup Up. The startup was formerly known as React Labs. The smart home appliances maker raised $800,000 in a pre-seed round led by Draper Associates. The round also saw participation from other prominent angel investors. Tim Draper is known for his early bets in popular companies. They include Tesla, SpaceX, Coinbase, Robinhood, Hotmail, and Skype. Up was founded by IIT Bombay grads Mahek Mody and Mohit Sharma.
