India is guiding the world’s fourth industrial revolution, says Modi. He was speaking at Digital India Week 2022 India aims to be a chip maker, he added. Investments are pouring in to increase semiconductor production. Govt is enhancing the skills of about 14 lakh people. This will happen in the next five years. Programmes are being envisioned to support the tech revolution. ‘Digital India Genesis’ is one such initiative. It will support startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities Rs 750 crore has been put aside for it.
