Amazon introduces ‘Amazon View’ to change the shopping experience

When we purchase interior decor online, the most confusing part is ensuring whether the product would blend in with our home. Mostly, it is a gamble. Amazon’s new feature ‘Amazon View’ offers a remedy to this dilemma.

Amazon View is an augmented virtual room that provides a basic layout of your house in 3D. Using this feature, you can customise your room with amazon products. You can view the products in your home before purchasing them. For instance, if you are looking for a coffee table, you can place that in your room and check if it blends well with the aesthetics and ambience of the room. You can do a quick interior design check with this feature which is an extension of the Metaverse.

How to do it? You only need your phone for this. Take your phone, open the Amazon app, tap on the camera icon in the search bar, scroll to “view in your room”, aim the camera at the frame you want to review, and witness the AR stimulation in real-time.

Currently, the feature is available on iPhone 6S and newer versions, running iOS 11.0 and newer. Android phone or tablet users should install the AR Core app to enjoy the feature. Android 7.0 and newer support AR core.

Surely, it will provide you with a novel shopping experience. Amazon View is currently unavailable in India.
