Meta has announced new initiatives to help protect women in India. It includes a platform to check and limit the sharing of non-consensual intimate images.

This allows potential victims to hash their intimate images. One of the initiatives called Stop NCII.org is in partnership with UK Revenge Porn Helpline. It will build on the company’s emergency programme NCII Pilot.
It will also expand the women’s safety hub to Hindi and 11 other Indian languages. Meta has also appointed Indian members to its Global Women’s Safety Expert Advisors Attachments area.
