Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman interacted with the world’s leading CEOs in Newyork.
India’s 100-lakh-crore infrastructure master plan, digitisation, Make in India were discussed in the meeting.
Sitharaman had a meeting with FedEx Corporation President and COO Raj Subramaniam.
The discussions focussed on the recently launched National Infrastructure Master Plan ‘Gati Shakti’.
Gati Shakti targets to lend more power and speed to projects.
Discussions were also held on India being the third-largest startup ecosystem and its unicorn status.
Sitharaman also met Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser.
Their discussions focussed on commitment towards Make in India and digitisation.
Sitharaman also met IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna in New York.
