HAL will provide six Dorniers to the Indian Air Force Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Indian Ministry of Defence have agreed to a Rs 667 crore purchase agreement for six Dornier-228 aircraft. The new aircraft will be used by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for communications, route transport roles, and transport pilot training.
