This is according to a study by State of India’s Livelihoods by Access Development Services.Women affected Total jobs lost during the period was 6.3 million, the report said. Of that, women accounted for 1.5 mn. Women workers in the informal sector were affected as 71% of rural women lost their jobs. At the same time, only  59 per cent of men lost jobs.The unemployment rate was highest among the youth.
