Indian precision strikes targeted over a dozen Pakistan Air Force (PAF) bases, resulting in the destruction of nearly 20% of its infrastructure and several fighter aircraft, according to official sources. These strikes were carried out in response to Pakistan’s use of drones and missiles aimed at Indian military and civilian locations.

Air Bases and Aircraft Hit
Key air bases such as Sargodha and Bholari, where PAF’s F-16 and JF-17 jets were stationed, were heavily damaged. At the Bholari base in Sindh’s Jamshoro district, over 50 personnel were killed, including Squadron Leader Usman Yusuf and four airmen. Several warplanes were also destroyed in the attack.

Wider Target Network Under Operation Sindoor
India’s Operation Sindoor covered multiple strategic locations including Nur Khan (Chaklala), Rafiqui (Shorkot), Murid (Chakwal), Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Skardu, Bholari, and Jacobabad. Satellite imagery confirmed widespread destruction at Shahbaz base in Jacobabad.

Losses at the Line of Control
In addition to airbase attacks, Indian forces retaliated across the Line of Control (LoC), destroying multiple terrorist bunkers and Pakistani Army positions. An estimated 35–40 Pakistani Army personnel were reportedly killed during this crossfire.

Evidence Released by Indian Armed Forces
On Monday, India released visual evidence of the destruction inflicted on Pakistani air bases. Footage also showcased the successful interception of Pakistani drones and missiles by India’s air defence systems.

Briefing on Operation Sindoor to Global Diplomats
Lt General D S Rana, Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency, briefed foreign service attaches from 70 nations on the planning and execution of Operation Sindoor. He emphasized the coordinated and precise nature of the strikes, and the use of advanced indigenous military technologies across domains.

Focus on Multi-Domain Superiority
The Indian Integrated Defence Staff highlighted that Operation Sindoor showcased joint force capabilities, technological superiority in space, cyber and electronic warfare, and the effectiveness of India’s kinetic and non-kinetic operations.

Countering Misinformation Campaigns
Lt General Rana also addressed the misinformation efforts by Pakistan and their impact on regional stability. He explained India’s unified national approach in effectively countering these false narratives.
