Lamborghini has officially launched its latest flagship, the Lamborghini Temerario, in India, with an ex-showroom price tag of ₹6 crore. The successor to the Huracan, the Temerario made its debut at the Monterey Car Week in August last year. It is Lamborghini’s second plug-in hybrid model, following the Revuelto.
Striking Exterior Design
The design of the Lamborghini Temerario introduces a fresh approach, combining striking aesthetics with advanced aerodynamics. At the front, the car boasts a bold shark-nose design, paired with sleek, swept-back LED headlights that enhance its aggressive look. The distinctive hexagonal daytime running lights (DRLs) serve as air channels, improving engine cooling and aerodynamic performance.
From the side, the Temerario’s profile is defined by sculpted wheel arches and sharp character lines that suggest motion even while stationary. Prominent air intakes behind the doors channel airflow to the engine, while the concave roof directs air towards the rear spoiler, improving high-speed stability. The rear features hexagonal exhaust outlets and a broad diffuser, emphasizing the car’s performance-oriented design.

Interior Luxury and Comfort
Inside, the Lamborghini Temerario draws inspiration from the flagship Revuelto, offering a driver-focused cockpit. The cabin includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, an 8.4-inch central touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch passenger display, providing intuitive access to the infotainment system. The design of the interface is based on smartphone layouts for ease of use.
Comfort has also been prioritized with an additional 34mm of headroom and 46mm of legroom compared to its predecessor, accommodating taller drivers. The standard ‘comfort’ seats are heated, ventilated, and offer 18-way electric adjustment. The car’s design also includes increased luggage space, making it more versatile for everyday use.
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Lamborghini Temerario marks a departure from Lamborghini’s tradition of naturally aspirated engines, adopting a hybrid powertrain. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 789 horsepower between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm, with a maximum rev limit of 10,000 rpm. When combined with three electric motors, the system generates a total of 907 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.
Two electric motors are mounted on the front axle, providing all-wheel-drive capabilities and enabling short-range electric-only driving. A third motor, located between the V8 engine and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, assists with torque delivery, ensuring smooth gear transitions and enhanced throttle response. The hybrid system is powered by a 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be fully recharged in just 30 minutes using a 7 kW charger, or replenished via regenerative braking and the engine.
Performance is equally impressive, with the Temerario able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and it boasts a top speed of over 340 km/h. The car also offers multiple drive modes, including an all-new Drift mode, which allows for controlled oversteer, adding an extra thrill to the driving experience.
With its cutting-edge hybrid technology, striking design, and exceptional performance, the Lamborghini Temerario redefines the luxury supercar experience. Combining power, precision, and elegance, it is a fitting successor to the Huracan and sets a new benchmark for Lamborghini’s future models.
