Lakshmi Venu’s New Role at TAFE

Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) has announced the appointment of Lakshmi Venu as its Vice-Chairman. The decision was made in recognition of her significant contributions to the company’s leadership and strategic direction.

Lakshmi Venu, the daughter of TAFE Chairman & Managing Director Mallika Srinivasan and TVS Motor Company Chairman Emeritus Venu Srinivasan, has been an integral part of the company’s leadership team and has served as a Director at TAFE.

In an official statement, Mallika Srinivasan acknowledged Lakshmi’s impact on the company, stating, “Lakshmi has been a key member of our leadership team and TAFE’s Board. In appreciation of her impactful contribution, the Board is pleased to appoint her as Vice-Chairman.”

She further emphasized Lakshmi’s forward-thinking leadership and commitment to TAFE’s vision of “Cultivating the World,” expressing confidence in her ability to drive the company’s collaborative and value-driven approach.

Apart from her role at TAFE, Lakshmi Venu also serves as the Managing Director of Sundaram-Clayton Ltd, a leading automotive component manufacturer. She is an alumna of Yale University and holds a Doctorate in Engineering Management from the University of Warwick, UK.

Her appointment as Vice-Chairman marks a significant step in strengthening TAFE’s leadership and reinforcing its long-term vision for growth and innovation in the agricultural and industrial sectors.
