The Telangana government has announced the construction of the Ratan Tata Road, a 41.5-km Greenfield Radial Road. The project, estimated to cost ₹4,030 crore, will connect the Tata Interchange at Raviryal on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to the Regional Ring Road (RRR) at Amangal.

Road to Pass Through Six Mandals
The road will pass through six mandals, Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, Kandukur, Yacharam, Kadthal, and Amangal, covering 14 villages in Rangareddy district. The project will be completed in two phases:
- Phase I: 19.2 km from ORR (Raviryal) to Meerkhanpet at ₹1,665 crore
- Phase II: 22.3 km from Meerkhanpet to RRR at Amangal at ₹2,365 crore
Designed for Future Expansion

The Ratan Tata Road will be a 100-metre-wide, access-controlled expressway with a 3+3 six-lane main carriageway. The design includes:
- A 20-metre central median for a future metro or railway corridor
- Service roads and greenbelts
- Dedicated cycle tracks and footpaths
- A utility corridor on both sides
Project Execution and Bidding Process
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) will oversee the project. The bidding process is set to begin with tenders available on the Telangana e-procurement portal and the HMDA website from February 28. Technical bids will be opened on March 21.
