The charming Microlino Spiaggina electric micro car has officially launched at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. This delightful vehicle is designed for vacationers seeking an eco-friendly ride.
Stylish Features
The Microlino Spiaggina offers 240 liters of trunk space, perfect for storing beach essentials. It boasts a fabric sunroof and an open back and sides, allowing for an enjoyable breeze while driving. The interior features moisture-resistant vegan leather, ensuring durability during summer outings.
Inspired by Classic Designs
This micro car is inspired by legendary beach vehicles like the Fiat 600 Jolly and Citroën Méhari. It’s positioned as a light electric vehicle (L7e), similar to its classic Microlino counterpart, and can reach a top speed of 90 km/h (56 mph) with its 12.5-kW motor. With a 10.5-kWh battery, the Spiaggina can travel up to 177 km (110 miles) on a single charge.
Practical Dimensions
Measuring 2,519 mm in length and 1,473 mm in width, the Spiaggina is designed for easy maneuverability in crowded areas. Its trunk space of 230 liters is ideal for transporting essentials, and the vehicle’s construction with steel and aluminum adds to its sturdiness.
A Unique Rental Experience
The company envisions the Spiaggina being used by hotels for on-site rentals, providing tourists with a unique electric vehicle experience. The limited First Edition Spiaggina will be available for €24,990, with an online waitlist now open for interested buyers.
Future Prospects
Manufactured at Micro’s factory in Turin, Italy, the Microlino Spiaggina is set to capture the attention of vacationers across Europe, with potential plans for expansion into the US market in the future. Visitors to the Paris Motor Show can see both the Spiaggina and the classic Microlino on display in Pavilion 5.3.
