The Mahindra XUV 3XO has witnessed impressive sales growth since its debut, establishing itself as a popular choice among compact SUV buyers. Here’s a closer look at its performance and features.
Strong Sales Growth Post-Launch
Since its launch in May 2024, the Mahindra XUV 3XO has consistently performed well in the market. In its debut month, it sold an impressive 10,000 units. By August 2024, sales hit 9,000 units, nearly double the 4,992 units sold during the same month in 2023. This represents an 80% year-on-year (YoY) growth.
Despite this YoY growth, the month-on-month (MoM) sales from July 2024 saw a slight dip of 10%, with 10,000 units sold in July.
Overwhelming Customer Demand
Mahindra & Mahindra launched the XUV 3XO nationwide with a strong reception. By the end of the launch month, 1,500 units were sold, and within just an hour of opening bookings, over 50,000 were recorded. Notably, 70% of these bookings were for the petrol variant, reflecting customer preference for this fuel option due to price differences.
Engine Options and Variants
The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes in nine variants: MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 Luxury, AX7, and AX7 Luxury. Buyers can choose from three engine options:

Customer Preferences and Variant Choices
The XUV 3XO has earned praise for its practicality and larger boot space compared to previous models. While the MX3 Pro diesel variant is noted for its value, customers tend to prefer the AX5 and AX5 Luxury variants for their balance of features and price.
