Kerala’s IT parks have launched the IGNITE 2.0 programme, inviting applications from fresh graduates for a six-month internship opportunity. Registrations are open until August 31, and can be completed at IGNITE 2.0 Registration. This initiative is available for recent graduates and employers within Infopark, Technopark, and Cyberpark.

Program Details and Benefits

The IGNITE 2.0 programme offers interns a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, aiming to provide significant exposure and practical experience within Kerala’s IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) sector. Interns will receive at least Rs 5,000 per month from participating companies, with potential for higher compensation depending on the employer.

Objective and Impact

Launched as a government initiative two years ago, IGNITE 2.0 is designed to offer job experience to aspiring professionals. The programme aims to enhance career prospects for young employees and potentially lead to employment with well-known companies. The financial support provided by the programme helps companies manage stipend expenses, making it easier for them to participate.

The IGNITE 2.0 programme represents a significant opportunity for graduates to gain valuable industry experience and improve their career profiles while contributing to the growth of Kerala’s IT sector.
