Samsung has released a brand-new file-sharing application called “Dropship” that enables users to transfer information between various devices.
The application is currently accessible to South Korean customers via the Galaxy Store, claims GSMArena.
The new application lets users upload files from the host device and generate a QR code that receivers can scan to download up to 5GB of content daily.
A Galaxy S22 series smartphone running Android 13 with OneUI 5 is required to send files, according to the article.
The recipient only needs to scan the QR code to begin the file download, which can be done instantaneously without the use of an app or a registered Samsung account.
In the meantime, Samsung had hinted that it would add new emojis to its devices with the release of the stable version of the One UI 5 update for Android 13-based phones.
With the latest update, Unicode 15 would be supported. The tech giant would thus be the first Android device to have the latest emojis.
Emojipedia revealed in September that a fresh set of emojis would be made available through Unicode 15, a standard for processing, displaying, and encoding text.
