India introduces design thinking and innovation courses in schools. India is the first country to include this in the curriculum. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will bring out books CBSE now plans to release books for classes 7 to 12. This course has already been introduced to students in Class 6 this academic year. This is an elective module CBSE, the Innovation Cell of the Education. Ministry and IIT-Bombay developed the course. The aim is to give a new perspective to education. This will inspire students to solve problems using design thinking.
