Aster Enters Bangladesh Market

Aster forayed into the Bangladesh Market with Aster Pharmacy Division

Aster DM Healthcare, an integrated healthcare provider, has entered the Bangladeshi market with a variety of items in the nutrition, baby care, skincare, and home healthcare areas as well as pharmaceuticals. Through its subsidiary of the UAE-based Aster Pharmacy chain, the firm has entered the Bangladeshi market. Through a franchising arrangement, GD Assist Limited will run the Aster Pharmacy segment in Bangladesh.

In a statement, Aster DM stated that its most recent fiscal year saw 8 million visits to pharmacies. Aster Pharmacy said that through this long-term agreement with GD Assist, it aims to broaden its horizons beyond the UAE, India, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan into other regions in order to provide genuine pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products and customer-centric experiences. The company added that GD Assist Limited plans to open and operate a minimum of 25 stores located in Bangladeshi high streets, communities, and shopping malls over a three-year period.
