India needs more EV charging stations
By 2030, there should be 46,000 EV charging stations
Only then India will hit the global benchmark
Reported a white paper by Alvarez and Marsal
The paper was launched at The EVConIndia 2022
Currently, India’s EV charger ratio is 135
That means, one charger for 135 EVs
The ratio is 6 for China and the Netherlands
EV adoption faces some challenges, too
Some are affordability, range anxiety, supply chain, and product safety & quality
