PM Modi has announced India’s dream to become the leading nation in drone technology.

He asked the youth to take advantage of the opportunities the new Drone Policy offers.

Many foreign and domestic investors have invested in drone startups.

Army, Navy and Air Force have given orders of more than Rs 500 crore to Indian drone firms.

Modi said, “this is just the beginning and we don’t have to stop here”.

Earlier, drones were used for Covid vaccine delivery.

Those will be deployed for transportation and home delivery later

India is also preparing digital land records of villages with the help of drones.
