They have partnered to pilot cargo e-bikes for the use case of last-mile food delivery
The pilot will be held in Hyderabad
Swiggy will associate with Fast Despatch Logistics and A.S. Group for the purpose
Fast Despatch Logistics is a leading last-mile delivery service provider
A.S. Group is a known name in the Public Bike Sharing (PBS) space
As part of the pilot, delivery partners will make food deliveries on the cargo e-bikes
The initiative comes under Swiggy’s commitment to adopt EVs in the delivery fleet
The goal is to optimize efficiency, cost and reduce carbon footprint
