Hospital in Palestine as India looks to increase its development support to the country
The proposed hospital will have modern medical facilities and a dedicated trauma centre to provide advanced healthcare services
Palestine Backs India at UN
Palestinian Ambassador to India Abdullah Abu Shawesh has also supported India’s bid for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for 2028-29
He said Palestine has supported India’s larger role in the United Nations and has backed India’s demand for greater representation at the Security Council
New Skill Training Centre
Another key agreement from the visit was the plan to establish a technical and vocational education and training centre at the Palestinian National Printing Press
The centre will provide training in printing-related skills and help strengthen vocational education in Palestine
India Expands Support
The agreements are part of India’s wider development assistance to Palestine, covering healthcare, education and skill development
The initiatives aim to support local capacity building and provide Palestinians with better access to healthcare and vocational training
