Keto Motors has officially entered India’s commercial electric bus market with the launch of the Urbanova KE9, its first battery-electric bus designed for urban and institutional mobility. The 9-metre bus can accommodate up to 31 passengers, offers a certified driving range of more than 150 kilometres under full load and has a top speed of 80 kmph.

To support its expansion, the company has committed ₹300 crore to enhance its manufacturing facilities in Telangana, including the expansion of its existing Jadcherla plant and the development of a new facility at Telangana EV Mobility Valley. The investment is expected to generate more than 2,000 direct jobs over the next three years.
Keto Motors has also introduced a connected fleet management platform offering real-time vehicle monitoring, battery analytics and predictive maintenance. The launch marks the company’s expansion into India’s fast-growing zero-emission public transport sector as demand for electric buses continues to rise.
