Prachi Nigam, who previously topped the Uttar Pradesh Class 10 board exams and unfortunately faced online trolling over her facial hair, has once again delivered an impressive academic performance in Class 12. The student from Sitapur district secured 91.20% in her higher secondary exams.
She scored exceptionally well across subjects, including 99 in Mathematics, 96 in Hindi, 95 in Chemistry, and 93 in Physics. English was the only subject where she scored below 90, with 73 marks.
According to reports, Prachi focused heavily on JEE preparation, which impacted her performance in English.
Prachi first came into the spotlight in 2024 after topping Class 10 with 591 out of 600 marks. However, her result photo went viral for reasons beyond academics, leading to unwanted trolling over her appearance. Despite this, she received strong support from many people online.
Responding to the criticism at the time, she said she was unaffected by negativity and remained focused on her studies, adding that personal appearance should not define a student’s achievements.
In earlier interviews, she also expressed that she is preparing for engineering with the aim of joining an IIT, and continues to stay committed to her academic goals despite public attention and social media scrutiny.
