Uber has launched a new feature that allows customers to return purchased items directly from their doorstep, eliminating the need to visit stores physically.
The service is integrated into the Uber Eats platform, where users can select an order, choose “return an item,” and request a courier to pick it up.

The feature is currently limited to eligible retail items purchased via Uber Eats, and customers must follow the return policies of individual retailers. Participating brands include major stores like Target, Best Buy, and Petco, with more expected to join.
Uber will charge a courier fee based on distance and time, and the service applies only to items priced above $20.
The move is part of Uber’s broader strategy to expand beyond ride-hailing and food delivery, aiming to become a “super app” offering multiple everyday services.
With this launch, Uber is tapping into the growing e-commerce returns market, offering convenience to users while increasing engagement within its ecosystem.
