Pranav Mohanlal’s latest film Dies Irae has struck gold at the box office, earning ₹20 crore within just four days of release. The psychological horror thriller, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, has already overtaken the opening weekend figures of the filmmaker’s earlier hit Bramayugam.
Early estimates show that Dies Irae collected around ₹3.25 crore on Monday, bringing its total India net to ₹20 crore. By comparison, Sadasivan’s Bramayugam, starring Mammootty, made ₹12.75 crore over the same period.

Steady Occupancy Across Theaters
As per Sacnilk data, the film recorded an overall 33.29 percent Malayalam occupancy on Monday, November 3, 2025. Audience turnout remained steady throughout the day, peaking at 36.10 percent for evening shows and an impressive 47.65 percent for night screenings, a strong sign of sustained interest.
Rahul Sadasivan Scores Another Win
With Dies Irae, Rahul Sadasivan, known for Bhoothakaalam and Bramayugam, has once again proven his command over the horror genre. The film showcases Pranav Mohanlal in a grounded, mature performance that anchors the psychological tension. The cast also includes Arun Ajikumar, Jaya Kurup, Manohari Joy, and Gibin Gopinath.
Critics have praised the film for blending emotion with horror.
