Dubai is preparing to add another global record to its skyline with Ciel Dubai Marina, set to become the world’s tallest hotel. Expected to open later this year, the tower will stand at 1,197 feet (365 meters), overtaking the current tallest hotel, Gevora Hotel, which stands at 1,169 feet.
High-Rise Luxury Experience
Developed by The First Group and designed by the NORR Group, Ciel will feature 82 floors and 1,004 rooms, including 147 suites. The design aims to reshape luxury hospitality with cutting-edge architecture and panoramic views.
Unique Features and Sky Attractions
The hotel will include a 12-story sky garden atrium, a sky restaurant at 1,158 feet, and what will be the world’s tallest infinity pool located 1,004 feet above ground. The project is being constructed by China Railway 18th Bureau Group of Dubai (CR18BG).
Stunning Marina Views
Located in the heart of Dubai Marina, the world’s largest man-made marina, the hotel’s glass façade and floor-to-ceiling windows will provide 360-degree views of the Persian Gulf.
Tattu Restaurant to Debut in the Middle East
Ciel will house 10 dining options, including the first Middle East location of the high-end restaurant Tattu. The Tattu Sky Lounge will be on the 81st floor, Tattu Sky Pool on the 76th, and the Tattu restaurant on the 74th.
Construction Progress
The hotel is still under construction with guest room furniture installation 45% complete, foyer 65%, dining areas 50%, and the leisure deck 40% done, according to the latest project updates.
A Supertall Addition to Dubai’s Skyline
With a height over 300 meters, Ciel qualifies as a supertall skyscraper, as defined by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. It will not only redefine Dubai’s luxury hospitality scene but also reinforce the city’s place in the world of record-breaking architecture.
