Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the RailOne mobile application on Tuesday, aiming to simplify the travel experience for passengers by offering a wide range of railway-related services in a single digital platform. The launch took place during the 40th Foundation Day celebrations of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
One App for Multiple Services
RailOne serves as an all-in-one platform offering services such as ticket booking (reserved, unreserved, and platform tickets), PNR and train enquiries, journey planning, onboard meal booking, and rail help services. Additionally, the app includes enquiry options related to freight operations.

According to the Railway Ministry, RailOne is designed to provide an improved user experience through a simple and intuitive interface, integrating various railway services in one place.
Single Sign-On and Seamless Access
A major highlight of the app is the single sign-on feature. Users can log in using their existing credentials from other railway apps such as RailConnect or UTSonMobile, eliminating the need to remember multiple passwords and reducing the dependency on several separate apps.
This integration allows users to save device storage and ensures a streamlined experience by connecting all services under one platform.
Added Features for Ease and Convenience
The RailOne app also includes R-Wallet, Indian Railways’ e-wallet feature for easy payments. Users can enjoy secure and simple login options like numeric mPIN and biometric authentication. New users can register quickly by entering minimal information.
For those who only wish to make inquiries, the app offers a guest login option using a mobile number and OTP, making it accessible even without full registration.
Available on Android and iOS
The RailOne app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Ministry expects this unified digital platform to enhance convenience and provide a more connected and efficient railway experience for passengers across India.
