Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has opened a redesigned luxury showroom in Chennai to serve customers across South India, including Kerala. The upgraded facility focuses on personalized vehicle commissioning, giving customers greater opportunities to customize their cars through a range of materials, finishes and design options.

Operated by KUN Exclusive, the Chennai dealership has served customers across the region since 2013. The new showroom was inaugurated on October 15 and is designed to offer a more immersive experience for buyers of the British ultra-luxury automobile brand.
Bespoke Commissioning Takes Centre Stage
The redesigned showroom features a dedicated Bespoke Commissioning Atelier, where customers can explore the extensive personalisation options available for Rolls-Royce vehicles. The experience allows buyers to tailor their cars to individual preferences, from interior materials and finishes to distinctive design details.
The entrance draws inspiration from the marque’s iconic Pantheon grille, while a specially curated Cabinet of Curiosities showcases Indian art and design. These elements combine the brand’s design identity with regional influences.
Unlike a conventional automobile showroom, the facility places greater emphasis on the process of commissioning a vehicle, allowing customers to participate more closely in creating a car that reflects their personal tastes.
Chennai Showroom Targets Kerala’s Luxury Car Buyers
Kerala is an established market for Rolls-Royce, and the new Chennai facility is expected to improve access to the brand’s specialised commissioning experience for customers in the state.
Collin Elson, Sales Head for Kerala at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chennai, said the showroom would bring the complete Bespoke commissioning experience closer to customers in the state. He noted that buyers could explore a wider range of materials, finishes and design possibilities in a dedicated luxury environment.
Vasanthi Bhupathi, Dealer Principal of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chennai at KUN Exclusive, said the redesigned facility was developed around the aspirations of customers in Chennai and across South India, with an emphasis on creativity and individuality.
India’s Growing Ultra-Luxury Car Market
The showroom opening comes amid rising interest in personalised luxury products in India. According to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, India was its fastest-growing market in the Asia-Pacific region in 2025.
Julian Jenkins, Director of Sales and Brand at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said India had been an important market for the company for more than a century. He highlighted the history of Indian customers commissioning distinctive vehicles and said the Chennai dealership continued to play an important role in serving the region.
Personalisation Shapes the Luxury Car Experience
The new facility reflects a broader trend in the ultra-luxury automobile segment, where buyers increasingly seek vehicles tailored to their preferences rather than standard configurations.
For Rolls-Royce customers in Kerala and other South Indian markets, the upgraded Chennai showroom offers a dedicated setting to explore bespoke design options and participate in the creation of their vehicles. The investment also reinforces the brand’s focus on personalised customer experiences as demand for exclusive luxury products grows in India.
