Trump also announced a voluntary agreement with leading AI companies covering internal controls, external reviews and measures to identify and manage potential risks from advanced AI. Pichai said companies would apply established governance practices, including processes similar to financial controls, to the development of what Trump has referred to as “superintelligence.”
