Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has entered the aviation consultancy sector with the launch of CIAL ACES — Aviation Consultancy and Expert Services. The new division aims to take CIAL’s expertise in airport development and operations to airports and aviation stakeholders in India and abroad.
CIAL ACES will offer services covering airport master planning, runway development, airside infrastructure, cargo operations, ground handling, commercial activities, real estate and safety-related systems. The division will also provide technical support, audits and operational assistance at client airports.
Its first project is a passenger verification system at Durgapur Airport in West Bengal. CIAL is also involved in plans to develop Durgapur Airport as a multimodal logistics hub and expand revenue opportunities linked to the airport.
The move follows a strong FY2025-26 performance for CIAL. The airport operator reported revenue of ₹1,220 crore and a net profit of ₹502 crore, while handling more than 1.14 crore passengers and 73,134 aircraft movements.
CIAL’s AGM also approved a 55% dividend to shareholders for FY2025-26.
