Apple’s new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come with significantly different price tags across major markets. The US has the lowest advertised starting prices, while India remains among the more expensive markets for the new Pro models.
The 256GB iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 in the US, equivalent to roughly ₹1.14 lakh. In comparison, it is priced at around ₹1.20 lakh in Canada, ₹1.32 lakh in the UAE, ₹1.35 lakh in Japan and ₹1.43 lakh in Singapore after currency conversion. India’s starting price is ₹1,64,900.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max follows a similar pattern. Its US starting price is $1,299, while Canada, the UAE, Japan and Singapore are higher after conversion. In India, the 256GB Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900.
The price gap becomes even wider at higher storage levels. In India, the iPhone 18 Pro ranges from ₹1,64,900 for 256GB to ₹3,14,900 for 2TB. The Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 and goes up to ₹3,29,900 for the 2TB version.
The US, however, comes with an important catch. Apple’s advertised US prices do not include applicable state and local sales taxes. Therefore, the final price can vary depending on where the phone is purchased. Buyers travelling abroad must also consider currency conversion charges, travel costs, warranty considerations and import rules.
For Indian buyers comparing only Apple’s listed starting prices, the US offers the lowest price, followed by Canada and the UAE. India, meanwhile, remains one of the costlier markets for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
