Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali has helped 10 homeless families turn their dream of owning a safe home into reality. He handed over the keys to 10 houses built by Lulu Group through Twentyfour Connect at an event in Thiruvananthapuram.
As an Onam gift, Yusuff Ali also announced ₹2 lakh each for the 10 families to help them buy essential household items for their new homes.
He also announced that another 25 homeless people will be provided with houses in the future. Yusuff Ali said helping deserving families and ensuring that support reaches those who need it is a responsibility shared by society.
The 10 houses have been built across Alappuzha, Idukki, Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur, Ernakulam and Wayanad districts. Four other houses constructed with Yusuff Ali’s support had already been handed over earlier.
The initiative focuses on helping homeless families and people living in unsafe or poorly protected houses by providing them with secure homes and a better quality of life.
