India has emerged as Nestlé’s highest-performing market globally in terms of growth during the first half of 2026, highlighting the country’s increasing importance to the Swiss food and beverage giant.

Nestlé Global CEO Philipp Navratil said India is already among the company’s top 10 markets by revenue and could move into the top five as growth continues. The company is focusing on volume-led growth, local consumer demand and its strong portfolio of brands.
The development reinforces India’s position as a key growth engine for Nestlé, with the company also seeing potential to use the country as an export hub.
