IIM Bangalore’s startup incubator NSRCEL has crossed the $7 billion mark in combined startup value, highlighting its growing role in India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The incubator is now placing greater emphasis on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, as it looks to support the next generation of startups and entrepreneurs.
The milestone reflects the scale of businesses that have emerged from NSRCEL’s incubation programmes and its broader contribution to India’s startup ecosystem. The centre has supported ventures across sectors while expanding programmes focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.
NSRCEL is also strengthening its focus on specialised areas such as fintech and AI, with initiatives aimed at incubation, acceleration, skilling and training.
The shift towards AI comes as startups increasingly integrate artificial intelligence into products, services and business models, positioning NSRCEL to play a larger role in India’s next phase of technology-led entrepreneurship.
