The Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express is getting a capacity boost ahead of the Onam travel rush, with the number of coaches being doubled to accommodate the surge in passengers travelling to Kerala.
The move is aimed at easing congestion on one of the key rail corridors connecting Bengaluru with Kerala during the festive season. A special train to Kannur has also been announced to provide additional travel options for passengers.
The enhanced services are expected to help manage the seasonal increase in demand and make travel more convenient for passengers heading home for Onam.
