An Indian-flagged cargo vessel, MSV Faize Noore Oliya, sank in the Red Sea after being hit by a projectile off the coast of Yemen. The vessel capsized following the attack, prompting an emergency rescue operation.
All 14 crew members on board, including 13 Indian nationals and one Yemeni citizen, were rescued safely by the Yemeni Coast Guard and brought to the Port of Mokha. The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the attack and said it is coordinating with local authorities to ensure the crew’s welfare and safe return.
