Kerala’s space technology ecosystem is set for a major boost with key facilities at the Kerala Space Park expected to be ready by January 2028.

The Common Facility Centre and Research and Development Centre are being developed to support innovation, research and the growth of space-tech companies in the state.
The facilities are expected to strengthen Kerala’s space technology ecosystem by providing infrastructure and support for startups, researchers and companies working in the sector.
With India’s private space industry expanding rapidly, the Kerala Space Park is expected to play a key role in encouraging innovation and strengthening the state’s position in the growing space-tech sector.
