Physical AI startup Skylark Labs is reportedly in talks to raise between $100 million and $150 million in a new funding round that could push its valuation beyond $1 billion.

Founded by CEO Dr Amarjot Singh, the California-headquartered startup develops self-learning AI systems for edge devices that can be deployed on robots, drones and autonomous vehicles. Its technology is designed for applications including defence, border security and public safety.
Around 70% of the planned fundraise has reportedly already been committed. If the round closes as planned, Skylark Labs could join the unicorn club, with a valuation exceeding $1 billion.
The company last raised $6 million at a valuation of $250 million in April 2026. Its latest fundraising comes as investors increasingly focus on physical AI — technologies that allow machines to perceive, learn and act in the real world.
Skylark Labs has worked with defence and government customers in India and overseas, and its AI systems are being developed for mission-critical applications.
The potential fundraise highlights the growing investor interest in AI startups that are moving beyond software and into robotics, autonomous systems and real-world applications.
