President Droupadi Murmu has arrived in North Macedonia, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian President to the country.

The historic visit is part of President Murmu’s three-nation state visit to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania from July 19 to 25, 2026. Her North Macedonia visit is scheduled for July 21–22.
During the visit, President Murmu is expected to hold bilateral talks with North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, meet Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the President of the Assembly, and address the country’s national parliament.
She will also participate in the India–North Macedonia Business Forum, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding economic ties.
The historic visit marks a significant step in India’s engagement with North Macedonia and reflects New Delhi’s growing diplomatic outreach across Central and Eastern Europe.
