Emirates has announced plans to deploy its iconic Airbus A380 on flights between Dubai and Hyderabad, marking a major milestone as the airline celebrates 25 years of operations in Hyderabad. The proposal reflects growing passenger demand and the city’s rising importance in Emirates’ India network.

If introduced, Hyderabad will join a select group of Indian cities served by the world’s largest passenger aircraft. The double-decker Airbus A380 offers significantly higher seating capacity along with premium amenities, including First Class suites, Business Class lounges and Premium Economy cabins, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
The move is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Hyderabad and Dubai, benefiting business travellers, tourists and the large Indian diaspora in the Gulf. It also aligns with Emirates’ broader strategy of expanding premium services across India while supporting the growth of one of the country’s fastest-growing international aviation markets.
