Realty major Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has reported around ₹65,000 crore of unrecognised revenue, driven by robust housing sales over the last three financial years. The company said this reflects the scale of its ongoing project pipeline and strong demand in the housing sector.

Record sales performance in FY26
The company achieved its highest-ever sales bookings of ₹30,024 crore in FY25–26, marking a sharp 76 per cent growth compared to the previous year. The surge was supported by strong demand across key residential markets.
Revenue recognition based on project completion
Chairman Irfan Razack said the company currently follows the completion method for revenue recognition, meaning income is recorded only after projects are fully completed.
He added that discussions are underway with auditors to explore a shift towards the percentage of completion method, which allows revenue recognition in line with project progress.
Strong outlook for current fiscal
Razack expressed optimism for the current financial year, stating that both sales bookings and new project launches are expected to exceed FY26 levels, supported by sustained housing demand despite global economic uncertainties.
The company is targeting ₹35,000–36,000 crore in sales bookings for FY27, indicating continued growth momentum.
Large launch pipeline across cities
Prestige Estates has a strong development pipeline of around ₹58,000 crore worth of projects planned for the current fiscal across major cities. However, actual launches will depend on regulatory approvals.
In the previous year, the company launched 32 million sq ft of development potential with sales bookings of about ₹27,350 crore.
Strong financial performance
The company reported a more than twofold jump in net profit to ₹1,195.5 crore in FY26, compared to ₹467.5 crore in the previous year. Total income also rose significantly to ₹13,195.5 crore, up from ₹7,735.5 crore.
Major player in Indian real estate market
Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates is among India’s leading developers with a presence across major cities. The group has completed 313 projects spanning 206 million sq ft and currently has a pipeline of 128 projects covering 195 million sq ft, spanning residential, commercial, and hospitality segments.
