Anant Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries, visited the revered Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh, where he participated in the early morning Suprabhata Seva and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara.

As part of his pilgrimage, Ambani underwent the traditional tonsure ritual, donating his hair at the temple. The centuries-old practice is followed by millions of devotees and symbolises surrendering one’s ego, expressing humility and offering gratitude to the deity. His gesture drew attention because his long hair had become one of his most recognisable features in recent years.
Following the rituals, Anant Ambani was also seen feeding elephants at the temple premises, continuing his spiritual visit. The Ambani family has frequently visited Tirumala over the years, reflecting their long-standing association with one of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites.
The visit once again highlighted the enduring tradition at Tirumala, where devotees from all walks of life, regardless of status or wealth, participate in the same rituals as an expression of faith and devotion.
